What Are Campaign Missions In Destiny 2

Players assume the role of a Guardian, defenders of Earth’s last safe city as they wield a power called Light to protect the City from different alien races. Guardians are tasked with reviving a celestial being called the Traveler, while journeying to different planets to investigate and destroy the alien threats before humanity is completely wiped out. Since launch, Bungie has released three expansion packs furthering the story, adding new content and missions. The first expansion , Curse of Osiris was released in December 2017. Warmind was released in May 2018.

Campaign Missions are the main questline for Destiny 2’s campaign storyline. Players start this story by traveling to different planets across the solar system collecting Power and Red Orb which is used to purchase legendary and exotic weapons, armor, and gear.

Each mission in the Campaign Storyline has a recommended Power Level so players can attempt them at their own comfort. It’s not required to be on this level when attempting these missions but it’s helpful when fighting against enemies and bosses which scale with the player’s level.

Why do you need to complete them?

Completing campaign missions in Destiny 2 will earn players new weapons, gear, and rewards. The more difficult the mission, the better the loot at the end of it.

The highest level of rarity is Legendary items which are maxed out at 330 Power Level. This allows players to progress through different activities with ease.
